The future is bright for St. Peter Lutheran Church and School! 

If you were to look back over all that has happened in our world since the 1860’s when St. Peter was founded, it might feel overwhelming. A civil war and multiple world wars. Global pandemics and natural disasters. Economic uncertainty and civil unrest. Sometimes it seems like it never ends… 

Through it all St. Peter has remained strong and steadfast, with roots down deep into God’s Word and with arms spread wide to love and serve everyone Jesus puts in our path. While much has changed in the world around us, our focus on Jesus and commitment to His Word have never changed! 

Do you know what else hasn’t changed? God’s faithfulness and goodness to us! He has never failed to provide us with exactly what we needed for each new season of life and ministry, and He has done so abundantly. We are blessed by the sacrifices and effort of the generations that have gone before us, and we are privileged today to build on that solid foundation for the generations that are still to come. 

As we look ahead to what those future generations will need, we know that our mission has never changed: Jesus has invited each and every one of us to join Him in making disciples who make disciples…Leading People to a Full Life in Christ [John 10:10]. That means that every girl and boy, every woman and man, who is part of the St. Peter family has a role to play in God’s plan.
