Serve in Music Ministries

Music is a gift from God that brings him glory and blesses others. Music is prominent in our worship services and in our Day School, and we offer a variety of ways you can use your musical gifts here.

These Music ministries have openings for new volunteers:

Voices of Worship (YTH, WOR) – From September through May, this group rehearses every Thursday evening and sings 2 or 3 times a month, generally at the Sunday 8:45 am traditional service. And they have a lot of fun doing it! See job description. Express interest.

Instrumentalists and Vocalists, adult and youth (YTH, ST, WOR) - We encourage talented musicians to help provide music for both contemporary and traditional worship. Some off-campus opportunities to perform also occur at times. Audition required. See job description. Express interest.

Contemporary Worship Team (YTH, WOR)– These vocalists and instrumentalists of our worship teams lead our 9:15am Encounter and 11am contemporary worship services each Sunday. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings and 8am Sunday. See job description. Express interest.

Additional Music ministries:

Alleluia Brass (WOR)– These skilled musicians (high school level or above) rehearse weekly year-round. They play for worship, generally at the 8:45 am Sunday service, about once a month, plus 3-4 other events per year, some off site. Audition required. See job description. Express interest.

Children’s Choir (WOR, ST) – a seasonal choir for children in grades 3 to 5 that rehearses on Sunday mornings and sings in worship services.

Festival Choir (WOR, ST) – a seasonal choir for adults that sings for festival services and rehearses on for 6-8 weeks prior to the performance.
